Andrew brings over 17 years of experience in the renewable energy sector in Ukraine. With a strong legal academic background and extensive experience working with state authorities, Andrew has a proven track record in both public and private sectors.
In 2007, Andrew transitioned to the private sector, starting as a logistics manager and Kyoto Protocol specialist for two companies. Between 2007 and 2010, he successfully secured full permits for a 300 MW wind project in Crimea for the Portuguese investor Martifer.
In 2010, Andrew led the development of a Waste to Energy facility in Donetsk for the Swedish company EcoEnergy Scandinavia. That same year, he joined two French companies, Beten and Valorem, to manage the development of a 1.5 GW portfolio of solar and wind projects as a project manager and country manager.
In 2018, the wind projects were sold to the German developer NOTUS. Andrew fully developed three wind projects with a total installed capacity of 300 MW. Concurrently, he served as the Director of a design bureau, overseeing the design and author supervision during the construction of one of Ukraine's largest projects, the 250 MW Syvash Wind Power Plant, for Norwegian investors.
